Tvh Homes Ouranya Bay

Sunday morning, 30 May 2010: The Shivganga Express brings us a little late to Delhi. With all our bags and baggage we take the next steps to get from the train station. Strangely, it is in this conversion in one direction only, so we make no idea whether it is the right one. In any case, we are at the taxi stand out and a guy offered us the ride for 30 rupees. That's pretty low, but there is off-season and our hotel is quite close to Anoop. With the greatest need we bring ourselves and our luggage into the vehicle. Hardly left us wants to make the first type, that the Anoop Hotel is 12 km away and that he knew us better. When we do not give in, he runs into a tourist office, going in and coming out says that Anoop was already full. This idiot thinks well, we would not know this scam already. On the map I see him again, where we want to go. Okay, we realize now that we have landed on the wrong side of the station, but this is just a detail. I tell him that he should now to discuss and bring us to stop Anoop. Well, for 150 rupees. What? Yes, it costs 30 rupees per person (suddenly?). His trick to get us into one of "his" hotel, where he had got a thick Commission, went into the pants. I do it one last offer of 100 rupees. He will not go away. So we load our baggage back off and let the stupid types with an empty car and quickly without having earned 100 rupees, leave again. We take 3 Veloritschkas that we pay but 50 rupees, but we like to do, because the kick in the sweltering heat, so it is also afforded us and do not cheat.
The Main Bazaar, where our hotel is located, is barely recognizable. It looks as if a bomb had struck. Actually missing only the rubble women and one would be somewhere in Germany, at the end of the 2nd World War I imagine.
As it stands, is simply widened the road. The houses have now all soft by about two-three meters and are therefore easy to the street partially demolished, stripped back, or whatever you call it.

In Anoop we check not only the store but a large part of our luggage and make us walk then again, back to the station where we catch the train to Agra . Take
In Agra, it is brutally hot, and yet we take the Hotel Sheela, which is only a few meters from the Taj Mahal is located, no AC room, because our children do not even cold to return to Switzerland. From a rooftop restaurant, we see for the first time the most famous building in the world.

Taj Mahal from the rooftop of

The next day we visit the Taj, the Taj, certainly not the Taj, then from up close. The entrance fee was increased in 2000 from a previous 15 rupees to 500. The many protests were effective. The entry was further increased to an incredible 750 rupees per person. That's India! Of course, only for Foreigners. At least, children are free up to 15 years, this is really great. There is also a bottle of water for free. Well then ...
We grab us a leader, not just anybody outside the entrance, but one that is waiting inside the Taj premises and pay for that less than half. The Taj Mahal is truly an impressive monument, even if the heat nearly overwhelmed us.

Then we visit the Red Fort, the Baby Taj and look at the Taj Mahal yet from the other river.

the evening, we are pretty much on the snout, but it was nice.

Since we announced our first Agratag "full power", we propose to us on Tuesday the time by taking a "pickling Tour", combined with dice and draw around the ears, because our first train leaves at 17.55 h. ..

dice until you drop

... would go at 17.55 hours. For our last train ride in India, we want to show the Indian Railways I guess we have that not all trains run on time in India. Our train comes with a half-hour delay in Agra, and the fact three and a half hour drive come again to one and a half hours late. Okay, we understand having! Would have been funny if we were told at home that go in India, all trains were on time ...

Sleeping On My Face Make It Asymmetrical?

the last time in the holy water

For the last time ..
sit in front of our guest house before sunset and light incense sticks against the mosquitoes, the last time eating in the Girls Hostel, a Vorinsbettgehen chai-drinking, sleeping in this bed where we were sweating so often and sometimes frozen, the guards , listen to their tour, listen to the temple singing, the last time to wake up in Kiran, the last Tchaikovsky cook all the many Staffs greet with a Namaste lead last personal conversations. One last time in the canteen Jawal, Dhaal Sabji and eat at a final Rajkumar Coffee and hear him say "yes a how are you? Very fine. Yes coffee. Is a very strong. You're my father, yes bohot achaa, yes, yes ...", pack one last time and a (for now?) last time, say goodbye to the Kiran ...

Thanks Sangeeta - Bohot Kiran thanyavad!

tears are not there this time. There is hardly anyone there to bemoan the Kiran. And so now we say goodbye for the third time, but despite all the joy of coming home again swings, this time with even a little melancholy. Bajao on the direction where we absorb the last impressions of the immediate environment, Kiran, remains . My eyes for a moment on one of the many yellow phone masts bearing the words VARANASI hang And I say to myself: "I'll be back!"

Inspirion 1525 No Camera

This morning I clock at half past five. Lunghi my noose around my hips, grab soap and fresh underwear in a plastic bag and make my way to the Ganga. In Kiran are of course many people already awake, the temperatures at this time of day quite enjoyable, it blows a little wind and the sun is hiding something behind a veil of mist. Comfortable stroll I farm in the direction to take the back door and walk across the field. The number of cows in the farm are also awake note, but especially not me. From the dirt road from I see many people walk or drive in the direction of Ghat. Most probably the visit Sulthankeshwar Temple and then subsequently (or previously - I do not know) to take their morning swim. The temple has a lot going on, it will chatter and drinking chai. On Ghat has already workers and workers who are already on the villains. Anyway, the huge staircase is apparently widened even more.
I sit down at first a bit on the steps and watch the hustle and bustle. A group of young men goes down to shore, where even a few are in bathing. I wait a bit, enjoying the peace and at this time, no one comes by to ask where I come, my name and so on and so forth. It is pleasant. Bottom left on the bank it has a few women and children who swim. The women of course in full gear. More are on the right the men, they go into the underwear into the water. The group of young men is now in the water after they have watched the first and the other in the bath. Since I am a paleface does not want to expose so much, I wait until they're done and do it again on the way back upstairs.
So now are only a few here and the sun shines now also the Ganga, which performs very little water. This is now a good time and I go calmly to the river bank to withdraw after almost 10 months, shortly before our departure, but even a bath in the Ganga. I want to cleanse the soul is not here, like the Indian pilgrims, but more than half a year practically lived on the banks of the holy Mother Ganga and not bathed in holy water to have it can not be true, right?
Lunghi and T-shirt I am moving and marching in the panties into the water, which is actually still quite clean, at least not so dirty, though not very clearly looks like. After a few meters I repel and make my first Schwimmzug. Yes and now I also understand how Sami has managed to lose in the crashing waves of the Bay of Bengal his underwear, because I suddenly have my almost down to his knees. Ah yes, the A. .. probably missing a few pounds. That would have been funny if I bleach the face, then füdliblutt would have to sneak to my Lunghi ...
Maybe it would have been even half as bad, because the few men who are also on the shore or in the water find, it seems quite normal that I am going to bathe here. This is really great. The water is pleasantly cool, I swim a few yards, then go back to the bank and soap myself up and down until fluffy, stop as I learned it from the Indians have. Brushing with Ganges water but I am leaving. I wisely left the toothbrush at home and throw myself then - a little more cautious - hiding again in the Ganga, at a few more times, exactly three times in said direction of the sun.
of soul and I do not necessarily physically cleansed pores, but with a good feeling, I make my then back to Kiran. On the dirt road I meet a couple of wild, beautiful peacocks, and as I walk by on the farm, but it starts to rain really. Only briefly, but it's a wonderful feeling.
still sleeping at home all. Pity, because this Morning hours are truly the best of the day ...

Is Audi A4 First Service Free

Back in Kiran

Since Wednesday morning early we are back in Kiran. Some have surprised all right, we just showed up, others experience having been through the Bush Telegraph. All welcome us with joy.
Most small children are already in the summer holidays. The Kiran was beginning to empty. Rahul is also my trainee already left in an ashram, where it can get some other air. At first I am a little disappointed, but I was happy to see him again. But it's probably better that way, because Rahul fights always very strongly with the pain of parting. And so we will now save the. The Boys Hostel, virtually all have flown in the Girls Hostel and it has only a few. At 17 h is again a special program called for. Each month through the Kiran a so-called "Awarness" program to make people in different places in and around Varanasi as Kiran attention inhibitions to build a bridge and people to encourage them that they will help the to support work in Kiran. Today, the whole thing takes place in exceptionally Kiran and the villagers from the immediate neighborhood are invited. The Summer Camp, a special week each year is carried out in Kiran goes to an end today, and so, various productions which have been rehearsed at the camp, is presented. Main topic is the environment in everyday life. The whole process takes a long time and as always I realize that I no longer have as much exercise while sitting on the ground, just as it did. I, too, something is missing padding in the butt. In general all say here, we would have fallen over the past 2 1 / 2 months and if we had actually eaten. Here we let it go us well. But the heat with probably more help to you here that attaches too much fat. When I look at the family photo from the last blog, I find myself that I've lost some weight. A fortiori, I am amazed when I next day, for almost a year, once again a Horizontal stand. 74 kg!! Those are more than 10 kg less than my average weight?! But just no sports, no alcohol, means no muscles, no beer belly. In any case, I feel a fiddle and that's the main thing.
The heat here is really enormous, always around 45 ° C. Most feel we can get it on our first day here in Kiran, a friend Uttar playing again with the current, it switches off and almost forgets the whole day, it back on. Our inverter is not running because he is somehow connected wrong and we have no electricity. No fan goes, the water is almost boiling in the lines, the refrigerator is more like an oven and in the basin is of course no water, no electricity because the pump is available. Om shanti! At least, the inverter still connected properly, but in the evening, as it reflects a bit of power, which is obviously not the correct charge. Thus the section begins in the middle of the night deafening whistle. That means "battery empty". Since there is only one measure. In the shower, along with a lungi (Indian loincloth), is not even dry off, lie down pflotschnass to bed and put the wet Lunghi about themselves. This is then repeated again and again ...
now works perfectly again but our inverter and Uttar friend no longer plays constantly with the power switch. He probably wanted to show us only that we return to Uttar Pradesh, and he has the last word ;-)
The Kiran empty as more and more and now are in addition to the staff and the trainees almost no people here anymore. When eating in girls hostel we are hardly to ten men, all seems very empty. But we enjoy it here anyway, and will stay around for another week, because the heat is bearable here best. Certainly we will then move towards the end of next week to Delhi. In Agra we will of course necessarily will visit the Taj Mahal - hot or not. Whether we make the planned trip to Rajasthan direction yet and if so for how long, we do not know yet ...

So we are looking forward to going home seeeeehhhhhhhrrrrr install and then for sure, and definitely with the long-awaited warmth.

Confirmation Letter Catholic Encouragement

train Chennai - Varanasi

My Birthday by the way totally beautiful, peaceful and welcoming, and in retrospect I am so glad that with the Zugbilett for 15.5. did not work. Remy has got hold of the tickets for the Monday, my greatest gift! Swamy by Bob Marley got me the wonderfully kitschy birthday cake, decorated the table with a red fabric tablecloth and a pineapple for decoration, gave me a beautiful jasmine flower chain and a picture with a beautiful award. Of the children I have also received small gifts and I have bought an "Om-Lantern", which was made by a stonemason by hand and two tops that were sewn by a tailor - you see, I let it wash me good , that would never have been possible on the train ... The delicious dinner with the two Swedish women was simply a stunner: Three huge fish and lots of vegetables with cream cheese, cooked wonderfully. planned, die-cut as we finally do not round off the evening with just good music, so to speak only "gechilled" ...

Samy helped actively participate since Friday at the Bob Marley. First, still mainly in the kitchen, even after slow service. On Sunday, he then made full use: accepted orders, served, even shakes himself made, dishes cleared, cleaned, cleaned up - really grand job, Swamy was made happy for his help and Samy hats very happy and good.

Our last family photo at the Bob Marley

So we start on Monday, after the packing and the Verabschiederei of the great people at the Guest House on to take up our "home". Our goal is to over 2350 km away, Kiran, our Indian home. At the bus station, our bus already full and we wait for the next. When the latter does not come within 15 minutes - usually we do not wait as long! - We decide, hold still, take the AC (air conditioning) to the bus, we do not really expensive and the first is still 3x. The children soon begin to grumble that it was too cold and they do not want to go AC ... Since they can look forward to, yes, because the train is air-conditioned be (back the way at her request).

the station from Chennai, we cover us with the obligatory biscuits and water resources. The train is half an hour before departure and we move into our home for the next approximately 38 hours. The two people with whom we share the department wants to retain their seats do not change places with our side, what we do. Too bad play is so good when we have a compartment to ourselves. The woman - they are mother and son - looked very serious and bitter, and neither commends us smile. Soon we realize why: you must suffer in frantic pain. Her son rubs his shoulder, giving her a ton of Medication and injected it 2x a day also something in the thigh. Madness, as he takes care of them! The two are nice, quiet "roommate".

At 21.00 clock, Sami has been sleeping, Alice and I almost, finally comes our supper, to which we have waited so long. After dinner we go to bed immediately, we are co

Today, Tuesday morning it will sound at 06:00 clock, about every 10 minutes, a loud, strong voice, "Chai, Coffee, Chai. For all I have to have to wait another hour or two ... Louis is clean on the nose and barking like a wild man: He has a cold total, has air conditioning (the rug certainly still played) Thank! His eyes are once again as "geklöpfte fuse, total swollen and reddened. For 24 hours then it is back again with the air conditioning and we will look back longingly to these perhaps soon.

Our Zugtag passes relatively entertaining: homework (only) out to watch a dog play (because of the space) to the windows, which are unfortunately very dirty, although they are now cleaned twice (the dirt and the condensate unfortunately stuck in the double glazing!). It was evening before the children start something "turning up and playing a little wild, but do not care, so normal. The official from the supper Train staff we have now canceled, because the back is only served at 20.30 clock. We stocked up at a stop with bananas, pakoras, chips etc.. So we are all already at 19.30 clock in our beds and hope to sleep well again. At 21:30 clock then a "sudden" Intermezzo: Our roommate have visitors, light the light once again on full and the visit to talk very loud and in a matter of course! I throw (for the first time in India!) A plug my ears and think for myself "thats India! and would be pleased if we then morning at about 07.00 clock (if no delay is received - so far is our train "above time") arrive in "our" Varanasi - Juppi Kiran!

is clear already: The AC-booking Varanasi - Delhi cancel us! We all are not friends of the air conditioning, and we are to "sleeper" rebook without AC!
(Claudia)

PS. Our train had finally 40 minutes late. To 38 ½ hours driving time, it is simply sensational!

Ticketing in Chennai

At 4.30 am in the morning wakes me love my cell phone voice and I am at last. Finally, because I already longer just still half asleep and slumber rumstudiere in our train ticket. I say goodbye to our birthday girl Claudia and make me to the bus station, to make in the hope of Claudia with a train ticket a nice gift. Some people are already on. Quite a lot of sleep but on the ground before their huts. Think of the times before in Switzerland: whole families to sleep outside in front of her house on the edge of the road. Unimaginable. A first bus roars over before I arrive at the bus station. He was the 4:50 h-he, the first bus to Chennai ... A taxi driver wants to make me, no buses that go from here to Chennai, after I turned down his offer to drive me in a taxi from Chennai. They want to sell a really stupid and there probably always be some who fall for such fairy tales.
When Tchaikovsky Walla approved I first Tchaikovsky. There is nothing better to start a new day. The next bus ride around 5:30 am and had about 2 hours to reach Chennai. Manure, which is a bit short when I think I should be at Central Station at 8.00 am in Chennai and still have change because the bus station is just outside. Fortunately, however, does not this date. To five ten runs after only the next bus and as we move quickly so early in the morning, I can change At quarter to seven already at the bus station. Cool goes, hopefully it will with the ticket so easy, I think. At the Central Railway but it has been a huge snake. Probably a few hundred people, all of which Tatkal a ticket like! And for once I am glad I am a foreign tourist, as it has for the human species, an extra office. Only a few noses sit there and wait. Even before 8 clock is an official and sits down at his computer and begins its work. After a short time, he asks the room if anyone still need a Tatkal ticket and I will come before any other turn. As if there would be nothing easier, he booked five tickets for the second-AC class, which we intend to treat the heat and the long travel motion. The supplement is minimal and I think it almost did not when I think shortly after 8 clock our ticket in hand. My heart leaps for joy. Although I feel somewhat sorry for the many Indians, of which most probably in vain for a ticket queue, but they suffer so each also not with us, if we have to pay entrance fees ten times just because we are "foreign visitors". So I forget the compassion again and let me not spoil the joy. We are now definitely on Monday, 17/05/2010 17:35 h climb to the train and on Wednesday morning at 7.05 h (+ - a couple of minutes or hours) to arrive in Varanasi. This has worked wonderfully with the birthday gift. We are all huge.

In Switzerland it would be absurd, because of a Train "quickly" to be 6-7 hours on the road. In India, however, makes sense. "Incredible India!"
(Rémy)

PS. The Candle Lighters on Claudia's birthday cake was because of the refreshing sea breeze a bit difficult. But the blow was very easy ...

Chocolate Brown Toilet Seat

enjoy in Mamallapuram

On Monday, 10.5. we connect to our "ultra-short trip" to Mamallapuram. The nearly two-hour bus trip is barely worth talking about!

We are top-fit on arrival, our accommodation belong with the beautiful name "Luna Magica 'visit and the village with its rock carvings, cave temples and the" Butter Ball "by Krishna, a huge ball round boulder, who looks as if he would like this roll at any moment ...

Mamallapuram is small, quiet, clear and has lots of charm. On the beach there are many fishermen who have always to do something: mending nets, roofs of their "shelters" repair with new palm leaves, playing cards or otherwise distribute any time ... It is exciting to watch these huge from our terrace from. Many people sleeping on the beach in the sand. Some of them come with Mättelis and ceilings, therefore, some of them lie simply in the sand and sleep.

Only in our accommodation and the beautiful Name there "dead trousers". The children find the double bed is too small for all three, and Remy finds the room is too narrow and too hot. I just think we hit the huge terrace, otherwise the whole thing is pretty empty and run down. We
visit our immediate neighbors, "Bob Marley".
true to its name, runs cool music, the staff are friendly and nice, we visit the room and for (almost) all is now clear: We are moving!

visit on Wednesday into the bus at a nearby crocodile and snake farm. Unfortunately, we already laid at the entrance that the snakes have in the summer holidays, a pity! So we content ourselves with the crocodiles and alligators, of which there are many different ways. The animals will be here even once "appropriate conditions" hold, which means they have nice equipment and enough water. It's interesting.

After we visit a nearby rock relief. Since we want to curry favor but actually a type of "only" RS 400 as a guide. I can hardly believe it: The only relief for a rock and a temple! What would the guy tells us there probably horrendous for this fee? Typically, the guides cost about RS 100 - 200, which tell a then ears with for an hour or two ...

We decide that we walk the 4 km along the beach home. The children always swim in the sea. The beach is deserted, not even fish are here, just north of our beach house. Sami but actually manages to lose his pants in the sea, incredible. Fortunately, he must not worry, it has so no one could see him the (clear we, but we're used to having someone always "Blutt" in our family).

Louis once again finds a dead fish. While fishing, he had so far, no luck, but he has already many dead fish found. Today, he carries at least one hour around with them, plays with him, show and explain everything to him just as if it were his "toy" ... He also digs a dwelling in the sand. It is a beautiful, peaceful family walk that we all enjoy. Once home, we strengthen all of us and the children rush back into the sea. They enjoy it here very much, the waves are nice and the beach is beautiful. Louis digs each as a savage in the sand. Sometimes holes and dams, sometimes just the trench sake. I'm glad he can finally really let off "steam"! Sami (he refers to himself for some time now Samy) Saltos practice diligently with starting in the waves and makes way lately, daily sit-ups to come up with a six-pack home. And Alice enjoys above all the "Dog" play their passion. Otherwise it is a lot of painting. It is incredible how beautiful they can sign off gods and other things. It has overtaken me with my Malkünsten long ago ... Rémy and I feel very comfortable here. It's nice to always watch the fishermen on the beach. Mamallapuram lives and because of the locals, this is beautiful!

We wish to be traveled on Saturday, but Remy was not our train ticket booking online, because the computer. You know, the will often not easy as we want ... And since here in Tamil Nadu 06:00 to 9:00 h is always a power failure, there is at 08.00 h, when we should book, not even open Internet cafe. Have no alternative than to Rémy halt on Saturday morning early to take the bus to Chennai on site at the station to try our luck. If it works, we'll continue on Monday. If not, we would have to take the plane. That would be expensive and there is nothing like as bad ...

We are here in Mamallapuram continue to enjoy the pleasant sea breeze, follow the life of the fishermen swim at the beach, dig, play and recharge your batteries, so we are prepared for the long, long Train ride from Chennai to Varanasi, which is expected to take about 38 hours ... But precisely, first we need to have the luck and grab us some tickets!
(Claudia)

What we are most happy in Switzerland:
Alice: On their playmates and their toys
Louis supervisor Grosi
Sami: On Angelina (his aunt)
Claudia: Upon you, family and friends, our house and garden
Rémy: In a glass of wine with friends in the garden at the fireplace

Baking With Lemon Chips

Auroville Tsunami

An auto-rickshaw for us Repos, Auroville, a beach property, overlooking the sea. We are lucky here is usually always booked everything, but there are school holidays in Auroville and it has just a big hat (bamboo hut) to choose, as if it had been waiting for us.
Although a pungent fish odor in the air, because the thousands of fishermen to dry fish on the beach, but that's just like that. Finally, we want to experience real India and we are already accustomed to some odors.
It is hot again brutal and all except Alice (she prefers to play something in the works) take a cooling bath. The Bengal Golf really seems a bit cooler than the Arabian Sea to be, but the waves have what it takes and it has a lousy undercurrent that draws us to the north - this is a sign? After refreshment we make to Foot on the way to Auroville. We call Eugene, to tell him that we are now on the road. If anything had happened, he asks?? Ski Ski Gaga are an hour late - embarrassing, embarrassing. I wash my hands of it, I was yesterday but because of my dehydration "completely irresponsible "...;-) how we make our own at first to Auroville, but after a few meters, Sami laughs at a Wooden-fire pizza and we decide to try them out. The pizzas are really good, except that the dough is still something to 'tangigg. Our stomachs almost bursting.
We take an auto-rickshaw, which brings us to the Auroville Visitors Centre. On the way one does not actually really something of Auroville, because virtually all the buildings are hidden in the countryside. Eugene has already explained to us the day before, otherwise we would have believed to be in the wrong place. In the Visitors Center, we look first a movie about the landmark of the Auroville Matrimandir on. The hall has an exhibition, which shows what is an idea behind Auroville and how it arose. It also has a range of statistical information on this model city. Everything is very interesting and sounds very good. Eugene told us, however, that even here not everything is perfect. But people who want to live here have to bring a certain attitude. As I understand it, they must have above all a positive, peaceful and in the public interest attitude. It must be the owner willing, able to leave power and status to be included here and tolerated. And most importantly, the divine is sought, but there are no religions.
on foot we make our way to the Matrimandir, but the heat makes us to create very beautiful. But it is worth. The Matrimandir looks really great. Just a pity that we do not him well as tourists from, much less can we view it from them. But it is also understandable that the Aurovillianer want to preserve their own privacy. Finally, they have indeed decided to special here in a Community and living every day to be ogled by tourists not to.

Thanks Eugene, for we meet a little later still, we can still catch a glimpse of something deeper Auroville. We take a long walk on some hidden paths and look at him with different settlements. As an architect and building estimator is of course here in Auroville in an optimal environment. Unfortunately, the pub where we wanted to strengthen us first for the march, straight and so is the initial fine, as always shady walk longer and longer.
I always feel like less and I'm soon back in delirium as the previous day, the children do with courage. After a long, long time, we come finally to the "goal of our dreams": a pub. We all have a refreshing drink and Sami, who appointed a "Swiss Magic" means, then, that was his best drink in his life! Unfortunately I am already at the stage where I can enjoy nothing more really ... Shit happens!
Well rested, we say goodbye to Eugene and take the last 1-2 kilometers below the feet. The thought of dinner can refresh me at all and I will lie down only one, me. My evening meal today consists of sodium Muriaticum that gives me our dear hostess Bagha. It works, I can again write blog. The pizza is still a little hard in the stomach ... Own fault!

Collecting Disney Diecast Cars

provincial mindset in the large India - Internet and other functional disorders

The last two blog entries actually been longer on the Internet, but since we are here in Pondicherry, our "super" flash drive does not, of course, once again . It works like this: I have the stick I bought in Kerala (= Indian state). After we cross the border between Kerala and Tamil Nadu had passed, work, the Internet anymore, because all its assets for roaming charges on it went. Now, finally, could the Idea Manager with tooth and nail to solve the problem for us, actually in Madurai and the part was wonderful, we could once even skype with it. Now we are in Pondicherry. And Pondicherry, although only a very small French enclave, which was incorporated in 1954 the Indian state, but also just so a separate Indian state. And so of course now our Internet Stick again. Credit = virtually zero, due to roaming charges. The Idea Showroom (sounds great, right?) Calls a friendly lady at the Customer Service, which immediately says that it was none of that one had the Kerala call Customer Service. At the moment there is just a power failure and the friendly lady can not call via landline to Kerala and their Idea mobile phone has enough airtime to make phone calls so far. So we try it with my phone. When she logs in and says she has retained an Idea Store, the phone just hung in short, this number is only for customers. Finally, I hang myself on the string and then try to explain my problem. I wait indefinitely, you must declare the whole thing a second time, wait again and indefinitely in the end they say I should just have some credit on it load, then it would work again although I've paid for 30 days already. That the problem lies in Idea and not with me, they do not understand and simply refer me to the Idea-complaint service, which will sit with me ... Yes, yes, blah blah blah. I give up. Until there is something we have long since returned to Switzerland. And actually, now would be so high season for my job search. Hopefully, only that the thing then the next change of canton, back in Tamil Nadu, is working again. The "Indian provincial mindset" sends his regards!

The other functional disorders still affect my body. I get another African Flash Back, where I have already experienced the same thing. After my "top-and bottom-Out Party" last Sunday, I am still totally dehydrated and am therefore tired and no appetite. Let's see if it does not work with one point, I can still log in as me so anorexic model at a publishing house. With a little make-up and capable of one or the other little plastic surgery to make sure there could be something ...

Pondicherry is above all known by the Sri Aurobindo Ashram and only few kilometers outside the city nearest model Auroville, which is originated from the same movement. As a guest in one of Sri Aurobindo-Guest House, we can relate (!!!) for 20 rupees per person food vouchers for three meals and go into the city in the Sri Aurobindo-eat cafeteria. There we have today, Thursday also settled with Eugene.

Eugene is 72 years old, Swiss, and has lived 9 years in Auroville. By his daughter, who lives as we in Biberist (we live in Biberist?), We have found to contact him. He tells us a lot about themselves and especially about the idea of Auroville ( http://www.auroville.org/ ). First, we listen to it in the nearby park. But there it is, despite shady trees is almost unbearably hot. Louis sweating like a waterfall. So we start walking on their way to our accommodation. Heading Eugene invites us into a topschickes on European styled restaurant because he wants a coffee. The children's course, extremely pleased and Sami drifts back and see. He wants there in the evening for a pizza eating out more than 350 rupees because the picture looks so delicious. "Säääämi wake up!" First, we have our 20-rupees-vouchers, secondly, did you but the food tasted pretty good at the ashram and, third, think of the great lasagna the day before yesterday ... And in such a place we go to eat anyway. That's not India!
item that is in any case, Eugene accompany us on our tomorrow's visit to Auroville, which of course is great. For as we get a better insight and he can give us a little more "freedom" . Give
the evening I get myself up and go, despite considerable loss of appetite with my family dinners. I eat very little rice good, Dhaal, porridge and Curd (plain yogurt). And on the way home I actually find a pharmacy. What does one? Several! As is typical of India, the transactions are not really distributed in the city, but usually together. So all pharmacies in a heap, all the kitchen scales to sell a bunch, all in one place does not matter carpenter, etc., I get my electrolyte powder, and now try to bring my water budget back into balance. It seems to work.
So, now is again packed times. We are 4-5 kilometers north and pull us look a beach property. Hop in the Bay of Bengal and then to make us to Auroville. And if the stupid Internet Stick will not work soon, he jumps into the Bay of Bengal ... No, certainly not for the pollution of our seas, others are responsible. Right now, I think just turn again BP, right?

Minka Aire Remote Troubleshoot

Wakelige steps in Pondicherry

On Tuesday morning, Claudia complains of not quite housebroken stool. So we start without proper morning meal, but with bananas, biscuits and water to the bus station, where once again everything goes back quite fast. Where we sit we must not explain more because wherever. Our next goal is Pondicherry. The first three hours are very pleasant, almost soporific boring, flat and straight. Our stomachs will thank. In Villapuram we will change, to travel the last 40 km in about an hour. 40 km / h are the way that applies to virtually all India average maximum cruising speed, whether for car, bus or train. This last hour has it but, because our bus has a very loud horn, our driver operated almost continuously and extensively this long and this is quite a torture for our troubled minds anyway. So we are happy, then to arrive in Pondicherry, where we the Information Centre of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram visit and finally found in a number of its houses, two very cheap and tip-top clean room.

Pondicherry still has something franösisches flair and walk along with us a lot of people on the evening of the beach promenade. We are hungry (even I feel appetite) and go to a restaurant, right at the other end of the beach promenade, but with a terrace overlooking the sea. But when the half, which is styled on the map on this posh restaurants do not have, we leave it again. Lasagne there are unfortunately at the moment and not just a soup, which I've been glad was currently "not available". We were recommended to the "Le Cafe" to go, which lies in the middle of the beach promenade. There, there was lasagna. So, back to march again all. In "Le Cafe" is lasagna, and even then to actually have to order one now. It takes quite a while before they come, which we interpret each as a good sign, since one can assume that the goods are prepared fresh. And it really is. Only a small hook, the lasagna. Instead of pasta are just slices of toast in it!?? We need to laugh and it can not believe it. So, would anyone order in India once a lasagne, then pray not only for non-vegetarian or vegetarian, but after non-pasta pasta or ask, right? At least we can keep all the lasagna ... I mean in our stomachs.
Yes, and as we have recently, apparently but a bit late and politically not quite as high as currently is again such a great message from Switzerland and decided to change our travel plans spontaneously: Our next goal is a chemical factory that here should be close and will offer in their outlet shop and growth hormones for children. Of course not for Sami, he is old and big enough, but Louis and Alice need to set our return in June still pretty. Maybe we'll even make you a one to two-week intensive cure, and give up a few days beach holiday in Mamallapuram, in Rajasthan and the Taj Mahal, because since they are not yet twelve years old, they nevertheless have until our return 1.50 m to be big, so we do not have child seats need to buy for them. THE SPIDER, THE Helvetii!

Country Table Decorating Ideas

Trichy: Yet more temples ...

last night I asked the Lord to the reception, what could be seen here because no matter how, he replied: "Only the temple! Ok, all clear! We visit today to an imposing 83m-high rock spur situated Rock Fort Temple. Although Rémy against since last night Gastrointestinal complaints struggling, he drags himself up the heat in the 437 stairs.
We are rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view over the city.
Since we're at it, we'll also visit the Sri Ranganatha Swami Temple. This is one of the most impressive temples in South India. We note that we getting a bit "tired temple" and are found in Madurai was still a trace impressive. Drum also for you not have any more info, just another pretty picture, because they are really nice, the temples with their Gopurams in South India.
morning, 4.5. We are taking the bus Pondicherry travel further.

Yes, and there would still be Montezuma's revenge ... Yesterday, when we drive by bus from Madurai to Trichy, I thought in silence for me yet, "Is actually really cool, like us, small exceptions taken at the beginning, during our visits to India are spared from Montezuma." This, even though we are making some "horrible no-no's". We eat ice cream in restaurants and from moving ice cream parlors, we have scoured the water from the fountain in Payyoli not even recently on a beautiful rooftop restaurant in Madurai has Claudia found amusing that we are the only ones to drink what the normal water, whereas all Indian tourism, which are usually still there, drinking water purchased from the bottle. But just the thought of Montezuma, was perhaps too much. I do not know it was the two cups of water, which I have fallen down for lunch in a typical Indian restaurant or one of the hot sauces that are grown here so much of my heart ...
Montezuma knows no mercy, and so I spend half the night on the toilet, which is at least clean and spacious and leave me busy up and down out of "dehydrate". Louis, who is with me in the room is sleeping like a log and the next morning quite surprised when I tell him that I did not sleep a lot. For breakfast I'm
one at Pepsi-Cola and today's trip is quite a pain, I feel like I'm 120 and suffer with the old Indians and Indian women, which is down the stairs and torture.
Another challenge is the course in India is always present, a variety of enjoyable and unpleasant odors. For me, unfortunately all uncomfortable ...
at night now, it's already much better. I'm not with them to dinner, the children do have regrets, but shamelessly (!) Utilized. I think my full share, they have eaten with extra servings of ice, as they report with glowing eyes ;-) I get three bananas and am confident that I can digest them somewhat normal tomorrow morning and we can continue by bus towards Pondicherry. I hope Montezuma forgive me that I am here more concerned with Indian deities and less with a Mexican rulers, who preached on his death bed a curse ...

Forced Medical Penis Milking

Madurai, Tamil Nadu, 29.4.-2.5.10

On Thursday in Madurai, we visit in the evening part of the Sri Meenakshi Temple, the landmark here. The six-hectare complex is huge! Several halls, shrines, sculptures, a pond and even a "1000-post-museum" part of it. The Ceilings are painted beautiful, colorful mandalas. In every direction rises a huge Gopuram (temple tower) in the sky. These are typical of the Hindu temple here in the south. There are works of art with thousands of small, colorful figures of gods, demons, animals, mythical creatures and many more from our hotel room we can almost touch them, so close we are.
We take part in the nightly held ceremony, in which the lingam (phallic symbol) of Shiva, is carried on a Senft, accompanied by loud music, smoke, many people and finally laid to sleep is. A day in 2,000 years accomplished procession! On Friday
We take part in a Ganesh blessing. That is really quite special, because Ganesh, the elephant god is "personally" present and blesses us with his trunk. We are amazed, as he shares the money in his trunk "storage" and that empties again at his companion. The banana frets land in the mouth and hey presto me nothing you swallowed nothing. We have the feeling that the elephant is happy about the kind donations of more than monetary donations. He does his job very professionally, we notice he has the blessing of exercise ...

After We spied this beautiful temple now in detail and were allowed to witness even a real elephant blessing, we choose two more temple sites, which we have planned to visit and which would not exactly located on the way to omit. At the hotel we being overcome with hunger. We leave Rémy, who has settled at 5 PM with an IDEA-manager who will personally come by at the hotel because our IDEA Internet Stick partout do his work no longer want and that is of course not! When we come back an hour later, Remy is still sitting there, without a computer specialist. A short phone call, new deadline: Today Evening at 9 PM! In the evening we visit the palace a "sound & light" show. We sit at the impressive, with huge white columns surrounded the courtyard and hear (from tape) to the history of the former ruler of Tirumalai. The offered "Show" is within the frame, but it gives her a lot of information. The compiler manager comes naturally and is no longer reachable by phone not ...

Today Saturday is to visit the Gandhi museum announced. The Ritschka we go to the not very centrally located museum. Once there, we see from afar "closed"! You have holiday today and as we look to's date, we will shed light on: 1 May! Is clear that if Biberist "dr schnäuscht Biberist native "and Solothurn to the move, Gandhi also has closed its museum as a social human being ... We do not like it in the planning, we wanted to leave early tomorrow to travel by train and we would like to visit the museum absolutely!
We take the time being to the nearby flower market. According to guide a balancing of colors and scents. It has mountains and bags are full of white jasmine and many other flowers.
Rémy and the guys like this but not sooo impressed, because there is no comparison with the colorful market in Mysore, I like the market anyway. Here in the south Many Indian women wear flowers in their hair every day. This not only looks beautiful but smells, depending on the size of the "arrangement" also always very sweet and beguiling, if we pass this. These little works of art are daily from many nimble hands tied again and again. Madness, as sent flower is attached to bloom and create the most beautiful "flower garlands. When I think of this immense work and at night everything is faded and is thrown away ...
What we also noticed that here in South India, many women with racy, very short short hair There. This is totally used to, but looks extremely well made. Usually Indian women who have their hair very, very long, or at least shoulder length. These women with short hair have been sacrificed her hair to the gods, that they can shave bald and her hair grow back on ...
then brings us to the flower market of Ritschkafahrer yet to fruit and vegetable market. First, we end up in a very specific, narrow alleys, in which all roles are large banana leaves and are carried away by men, of course derern heads.

Will be allocated immediately for us such a role and turned into a comfortable seat. We allow ourselves a chai look interested the hive of activity and some men gathered around us and look very interested to ... We try to communicate something together. There is a good mood. All the way banana leaves are used as a "plate" in the restaurants.
We then stroll through the more fruit and vegetable market, to find our children, those we would have really seen enough of that we can not go back to the hotel and homework can make ...
What we do well, because Remy has an appointment today, so again, you know whom ...
perform this way the children behaved their homework and the meeting comes to the computer manager today really come! Now we are delighted that once again Rémy may eat with us.

On Sunday morning we visit the Gandhi museum now but still!
We have just before it opens there. Item 10 clock is gehiesst the Indian flag, it runs from the Indian national anthem band and the four museum staff are very reverently beside it. But it gets even better! When the music from tape is ready to sing the three (one does not sing with) again a song with many verses. Funny thing is that we hardly hear anything, for the three appear to be a boy born singer ... The museum visit is worth it! It is one of the nicer museums here in India, not shabby, but very well maintained and all well labeled. There is plenty to read for us and the children Rémy translated diligently what happened. The boys are very interested and Sami asks if there are also books in German, because he wants to read about Gandhi, when he is back in Switzerland.
Back in the hotel we get our luggage and take the same "driver" to the bus station. Yes, that is with the train operator now nothing because the drive today only in the morning and at dusk. Louis takes it easy than it once was, because the track is more or less straight ... We have a nice bus and drive almost exclusively on a highway topneuen!
The landscape here in Tamil Nadu is beautiful. The fields are all arranged and in between we see fields that glow bright green. Also, it has always huge boulders and small hills, which protrude from the fields. A very varied and interesting ride. Amazingly, we are shortly before 4 PM in Trichy, ie in less than three hours drive. The first time we arrive earlier than expected.
