enjoy in Mamallapuram
On Monday, 10.5. we connect to our "ultra-short trip" to Mamallapuram. The nearly two-hour bus trip is barely worth talking about!
We are top-fit on arrival, our accommodation belong with the beautiful name "Luna Magica 'visit and the village with its rock carvings, cave temples and the" Butter Ball "by Krishna, a huge ball round boulder, who looks as if he would like this roll at any moment ...
Mamallapuram is small, quiet, clear and has lots of charm. On the beach there are many fishermen who have always to do something: mending nets, roofs of their "shelters" repair with new palm leaves, playing cards or otherwise distribute any time ... It is exciting to watch these huge from our terrace from. Many people sleeping on the beach in the sand. Some of them come with Mättelis and ceilings, therefore, some of them lie simply in the sand and sleep.
Only in our accommodation and the beautiful Name there "dead trousers". The children find the double bed is too small for all three, and Remy finds the room is too narrow and too hot. I just think we hit the huge terrace, otherwise the whole thing is pretty empty and run down. We
visit our immediate neighbors, "Bob Marley".
true to its name, runs cool music, the staff are friendly and nice, we visit the room and for (almost) all is now clear: We are moving!
visit on Wednesday into the bus at a nearby crocodile and snake farm. Unfortunately, we already laid at the entrance that the snakes have in the summer holidays, a pity! So we content ourselves with the crocodiles and alligators, of which there are many different ways. The animals will be here even once "appropriate conditions" hold, which means they have nice equipment and enough water. It's interesting.
After we visit a nearby rock relief. Since we want to curry favor but actually a type of "only" RS 400 as a guide. I can hardly believe it: The only relief for a rock and a temple! What would the guy tells us there probably horrendous for this fee? Typically, the guides cost about RS 100 - 200, which tell a then ears with for an hour or two ...
We decide that we walk the 4 km along the beach home. The children always swim in the sea. The beach is deserted, not even fish are here, just north of our beach house. Sami but actually manages to lose his pants in the sea, incredible. Fortunately, he must not worry, it has so no one could see him the (clear we, but we're used to having someone always "Blutt" in our family).
Louis once again finds a dead fish. While fishing, he had so far, no luck, but he has already many dead fish found. Today, he carries at least one hour around with them, plays with him, show and explain everything to him just as if it were his "toy" ... He also digs a dwelling in the sand. It is a beautiful, peaceful family walk that we all enjoy. Once home, we strengthen all of us and the children rush back into the sea. They enjoy it here very much, the waves are nice and the beach is beautiful. Louis digs each as a savage in the sand. Sometimes holes and dams, sometimes just the trench sake. I'm glad he can finally really let off "steam"! Sami (he refers to himself for some time now Samy) Saltos practice diligently with starting in the waves and makes way lately, daily sit-ups to come up with a six-pack home. And Alice enjoys above all the "Dog" play their passion. Otherwise it is a lot of painting. It is incredible how beautiful they can sign off gods and other things. It has overtaken me with my Malkünsten long ago ... Rémy and I feel very comfortable here. It's nice to always watch the fishermen on the beach. Mamallapuram lives and because of the locals, this is beautiful!
We wish to be traveled on Saturday, but Remy was not our train ticket booking online, because the computer. You know, the will often not easy as we want ... And since here in Tamil Nadu 06:00 to 9:00 h is always a power failure, there is at 08.00 h, when we should book, not even open Internet cafe. Have no alternative than to Rémy halt on Saturday morning early to take the bus to Chennai on site at the station to try our luck. If it works, we'll continue on Monday. If not, we would have to take the plane. That would be expensive and there is nothing like as bad ...
We are here in Mamallapuram continue to enjoy the pleasant sea breeze, follow the life of the fishermen swim at the beach, dig, play and recharge your batteries, so we are prepared for the long, long Train ride from Chennai to Varanasi, which is expected to take about 38 hours ... But precisely, first we need to have the luck and grab us some tickets!

What we are most happy in Switzerland:
Alice: On their playmates and their toys
Louis supervisor Grosi
Sami: On Angelina (his aunt)
Claudia: Upon you, family and friends, our house and garden
Rémy: In a glass of wine with friends in the garden at the fireplace
